Sermon Notes:
- The two key words to focus on as we start the Lord’s Prayer are: Father and heaven.
- When we come to God to pray, He is delighted to see us and gives us His full attention.
- The first line is the approach, and the remaining six lines are requests.
- The first half of the requests are for God not for us.
- God’s name is the picture of Him we have in our minds when we relate to Him.
- The way to obey the first commandment is to ask the first request in the Lord’s Prayer.
