Zechariah's prophecy at the birth of his son, John the Baptist,
there had been no Prophets in Israel for 450 years. What the last
Prophet, Joel, and the people had waited for was God's rain to
pour from Heaven - the former to prepare us for Christ, and the
latter, Christ, to be our hope and bringer of new life. Receive the
rain of God's blessing. Be His rain to another this Advent as we
celebrate the birth of Our Lord and Hope."
