Summary
Confronting Compromise: Revelation 2:12-17
Detail
Sermon Notes:
- Our nation is a story of Christian compromise.
- God compromises with us, but not with sin.
- The unique way Jesus appeared to the church in Pergamum was through the sword of truth.
- The same power that will destroy the world one day can destroy worldliness now in you and me.
- As much as we fight for our rights and our freedoms, it’s ultimately a losing battle.
- We mustn’t lose our spiritual edge in our society.
- If we don’t separate from the world, we won’t shine in the world.
