Sermon Notes:
- Money cannot buy happiness.
- God controls how much we have, and how much we enjoy what we have.
- When we pursue happiness we rarely find it. It finds us when we try to give it away to other people.
- God wants to bless our lives in a fresh way every day. We can’t replace this with a big bank balance!
- The remedy for greed is generous giving.
- It’s OK to enjoy wealth, but it’s not OK to love wealth or put our trust in it.
- We are supposed to enjoy our wealth and love God! But what happens for many of us is we love our wealth and forget God.
