Eastside Update 10.23.2020

by Ashley Willis on October 23, 2020

SPECIAL EVENTS

HE has been so good and has brought us to this next step. Our celebratory Eastside organizational meeting will be in the church parking lot on Oct 25, immediately following the Sunday worship service. We expect to begin the meeting at 11:15 AM. New members should have already received documents and the meeting agenda, so please check your email. I am excited to move with you into all sorts of new things as He leads us.

In John 1:14 John tells us, "The Word became flesh and dwelt (tabernacled) among us.  We have seen his glory,  the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth."

One of the ways His glory was put on display was through miracles (John 2:11). The display of Jesus' glory led to belief and new life.

I am convinced that the LORD is still looking to display His glory that others might believe and experience new life (John 15:7-8).

If you are interested in being a part of the Healing Prayer Team, then please plan on coming to the Healing Prayer Training on Nov 5 at 4:30 PM at Eastside Church. This is the first of a 4-part training session. There will be a 40-minute video in the worship room where we have lots of space to spread out. Please abide by all the COVID protocols as listed on our website.

After the video, there will be a time of prayer for healing.

Video 4:30-5:15 PM (in the Worship Room)

Prayer for Healing 5:15-5:45 PM (Outside--we'll use umbrellas if it rains or p ostpone if weather is severe).

Please call if you have questions. Excited to take a step with you toward more regular times of healing prayer at Eastside.

Nov 8 is the first Youth Worship Service at Eastside. Please join us that Sunday to experience how our young people are listening, following the LORD, and sharing His gifts.
