Save the Date
Saturday, September 25 will be the Eastside Prayer Walk (10:30 AM) and Family Picnic (12 PM). Please join us for one or both of these activities. If you haven’t been on a prayer walk before, be encouraged! It will be a great experience. Training will be at 10:15 AM so you can get a simple explanation of what prayer walking is all about. Please feel free to invite anyone you encounter along the walk to join us for the picnic. At noon everyone will gather for a fun time of outdoor games and great food, enriched by your fabulous side dishes! Save the date and watch the newsletter for more info coming soon.
Young Adults

Serve
We have needs in our congregation that you might be able to meet! Some members of our church family need help with transportation on Sunday mornings. Can you offer a ride to church? One couple in our church is experiencing health challenges and could use help with occasional meals and laundry. Are you willing to help? If so, please email for more information.
Eastside has an exciting opportunity to share the love of Christ with children living in Powhatan Apartments. If you are interested in serving on Wednesdays from 3:45-4:45 PM starting September 15, please contact Ashley Willis at .

“This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us” (1 John 5:14). Eastside prays in community Monday-Saturday by teleconference.
Tuesday and Friday morning prayer is also held at the church at 7 AM. Check our website for daily prayer sheets with responsive readings to enhance your prayer time.
Prayer Requests
Do you need prayer for something going on in your life? We have prayer team members who would love to pray for you and your situation. If you want us to pray privately and confidentially, we will do that. If you would like your prayer requests to be shared and prayed for by our open prayer groups, we can lift them up during our weekly prayer times.
